I forgot to note this a couple months ago, but Cobalt, the cafe/jazz club on St Paul Ouest in Old Montreal, has closed permanently. The web site finally disappeared in July. No word yet on what will replace it, but it’s a prime location.

Cobalt has closed temporarily because of a recent flood. The web site emphasizes that it’s temporary, although we’ve seen some speculation on food discussion boards that the closing may turn out to be permanent. We hope not!
